Terms of Use
Prof. Greg's Institute (PGI) Student Portal · Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses the PGI Student Portal, run by Prof. Greg's Institute (“PGI”, “the school”), Umuonyenze Atta, Ikeduru, Imo State, Nigeria. By creating an account you agree to them, to our Privacy Policy and to our Refund Policy.
Prof. Greg's Institute is affiliated with Peaceland College of Education. This portal is run by Prof. Greg's Institute; it is not a Peaceland College of Education website.
1. Your account
- Each student may have one account. Use your real name as it should appear on your exam card, and keep your details correct.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- You log in with your email address and password. Undergraduate students: your PGI registration number is the only number you use with the school (on exam sheets, your clearance and your exam card); it is not used to log in.
- Undergraduate students: your registration number is given to you when the school confirms your profile fee. Master's students do not get a registration number; they are identified by their name and email address.
- Your study level is set when you sign up and after that is changed only by the school (usually when a new contact opens).
2. Fees
All prices are in naira. You transfer exactly the price shown; no fee is added by the portal. Your own bank may charge you for the transfer.
- Undergraduate students (4-year and 6-year programmes): profile creation ₦5,000, once (it gives you your registration number); course registration ₦6,000 for each contact, for the current or a later contact only (paying it registers your courses and issues your clearance); results ₦5,000 to open the result of one contact; receipt-upload service ₦6,000, once, optional (it has no effect on your clearance).
- Master's students (two semesters): account creation ₦10,000, once (it activates your account); course registration ₦2,000 for each course, for each semester, paid in one transfer for the courses you tick (courses added later are paid for separately); results ₦5,000 to open the result of one semester.
The school may change its fees for future contacts. Changes are shown on the portal before you pay.
3. Payments and refunds
- All payments are made by bank transfer into the official accounts shown on the payment page of your portal, with the payment code shown there written in the transfer narration.
- Only pay into the official accounts shown on the portal. The school will never ask you, by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person, to pay into any other account. Money sent anywhere else does not reach the school.
- After transferring, you send the details and the receipt on the portal. A payment counts only after school staff have checked it against the school's bank account and confirmed it. Nothing is unlocked before that.
- Staff may reject a payment they cannot find, with a reason; you can correct and send it again. Sending false details or a false receipt is a serious breach of these terms.
- If a bank recalls or reverses a transfer, the school may reverse the payment on the portal and lock again what it unlocked.
- Refunds are given only for overpayment (paying more than due, or paying twice for the same thing). See the Refund Policy.
4. Pictures, clearances and exam cards
- Your picture must clearly show your face. Staff may reject it and ask for a new one; only an approved picture prints on your exam card.
- Your clearance can be checked by scanning its QR code. The school may cancel a clearance, for example if a payment is reversed, and will tell you why.
5. Results
- Results are published by school staff after they are checked. A result for a contact can be opened after it is published and linked to you, and the result fee is paid.
- Results from before the October 2025 contact are not on the portal.
- If you think a result is wrong, or a result that should be yours is missing, contact the school through the Help page.
- No certificates. The portal does not offer, issue or promise any certificate, diploma or degree, and nothing on it (including results, statements of result, clearances and exam cards) is or should be taken as one.
6. Using the portal properly
Do not try to get into other people's accounts or records, upload false documents or someone else's picture, overload or attack the portal, or use it for anything unlawful. The school may suspend accounts that break these terms.
7. Availability and changes
Open every day. The portal is available 24 hours a day. We try to keep the portal working at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable (for example during maintenance or because of a provider's fault). We may update the portal and these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
8. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, the school is not responsible for losses caused by events outside its reasonable control.
